Pergola is a small town rich in medieval architecture (typical of Marche properties) with stone buildings and churches restored to their former glory. Relevant is the religious architecture: because of the high number of churches and monasteries, the city is called "the Pergoletta Santa" (the Cathedral, the church of San Francesco, the church of St. Andrew, the church of San Biagio and many others).

The city is also famous to host the golden bronzes from Cartoceto: a Roman equestrian statuesque group consists of two knights, two horses and two women standing.
